Shopify integration — order reporting, charts and exports

Put your Shopify orders beside marketing data. Compare processed orders and order totals with SEO, traffic or advertising series while keeping each currency separate.

APPLICATIONS

How to use Shopify in Netiker?

Orders beside marketing performance

Overlay order counts or order totals with GA4, Meta Ads or search visibility. Review timing and changes without treating correlation as attribution.

A refreshed order table

Schedule recurring snapshots and export the saved table to Google Sheets. Keep your own notes in a separate sheet so refreshes do not overwrite them.

Export to Google Sheets

Use Shopify data in AI tools

Authorized clients can read saved tables through Netiker MCP or Data API. Shopify credentials remain on the server; report access uses separate Netiker authorization.

Netiker MCP

SCOPE OF INTEGRATION

What data does it support? Shopify?

Orders

Order ID, UTC processing time, financial status and cancellation time.

Order totals

Shop-currency amounts including tax and shipping, plus the refunded amount recorded for each order.

Comparison metrics

Processed orders and order totals by processing date. Cancelled orders are excluded from these metrics.

EXAMPLE AND INTERPRETATION

Example order data

Illustrative example - data does not come from a customer account.

Order IDProcessed atOrder totalRefunded amountCurrency
Order A2026-10-01120.0020.00EUR
Order B2026-10-0295.000.00USD

Illustrative data only. EUR and USD remain separate; the refunded amount is a snapshot for that order. No exchange-rate conversion or payment attribution is implied.

CONFIGURATION

From call to report

Before connecting

Use an app installed in a store in your own Shopify organization with read_orders access. Enter shop.myshopify.com:CLIENT_ID:CLIENT_SECRET. Netiker exchanges these credentials for a fresh token on each sync. Existing Admin API tokens are also supported as shop.myshopify.com:TOKEN.

  1. Prepare your store app

In Shopify Dev Dashboard, create an app for your own organization, select read_orders, install it in your store and copy its client ID and secret.

  2. Connect Shopify

In Sources, choose Shopify and enter your myshopify.com domain and credentials in the displayed format. Verify the connection.

  3. Schedule and analyze

Choose a sync frequency. Each successful refresh replaces the saved 28-day order snapshot. Open the table, build comparison charts or connect a destination.

Connection and refresh: most common problems

Shopify rejects access

Check the exact myshopify.com domain, installed app, organization ownership and read_orders scope. After changing scopes, update the app installation before verifying again.

The chart differs from Shopify sales analytics

Compare the same processing dates and UTC boundaries. Netiker excludes cancelled orders from comparison metrics and includes tax and shipping in order totals. Check whether the report is truncated.

What is worth knowing before downloading

  • The report covers the last 28 complete UTC days. It does not request customer names, addresses, email addresses or order line items.
  • Order totals are not profit or confirmed payment revenue. Refund amounts describe the current state of these orders, not refunds made on the processing date.
  • One store per Shopify connection. Client credentials require the app and store to belong to the same Shopify organization. Netiker does not provide a public Shopify OAuth app.
  • Pagination stops at your plan's row or report-size limit; an incomplete report is marked accordingly. Snapshots do not build a permanent order ledger.

Questions about Shopify

With client ID and secret, Netiker obtains a new token for each sync. If you provide a token directly, you are responsible for renewing it when it expires.

Yes, as separate series. This comparison does not attribute individual orders to ads or calculate profit. Keep currency and reporting dates aligned.
